We had a truly enjoyable time at this cottage. From the moment we arrived, the host welcomed us with great kindness and warmth, which immediately made our stay a pleasant one. The place is impeccably clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. You can tell that real attention has been paid to every detail. We stayed at Bonnes Routes for a relaxing week break in September 2023. The gite was immaculately clean, well equipped and in a beautiful, tranquil setting, with fantastic views over the surrounding countryside. Steph and Stephen were excellent hosts, extremely helpful and there if you need them, but also respect your privacy while holidaying. There is lots of information in the gite with regards to surrounding attractions and places to visit, such as lakes and seeing the dordogne region. Highly recommend a visit!

A hidden gem - booked very late due to change of holiday plans, booking was easy with excellent feedback & helpful information from the owners. All equipment was absolutely spotless and it really was a pleasure to stay there. This was our very first gite holiday and it has set some very high standards. A wonderful gite with fabulous views over open countryside, very private with own section of garden to relax in. Parking is also available. The interior of the gite is well fitted out and has everything you could wish for and more. Extremely clean with nice modern furniture and plenty of storage for everything. Stephanie and Stephen are great hosts, they are there on site if needed. They went over and above to help us out with our daughter’s wedding whilst we were there. They have put a lot of thought into this accommodation. There are lots of suggestions for driving routes around the area, with them both being petrol heads! The gite is aimed at couples looking for some peace and tranquillity. I would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

Stunning Location - Steph & Stephen are the most kind & friendly hosts we’ve had the pleasure of meeting. The gite is located down a quite lane with the most spectacular views of the countryside. The gite is well equipped with everything you would need during your stay and more. If we are in this area again, we would definitely stay and I have no hesitation in recommending this 5 star accommodation. The cleanliness is exemplary, I noticed even the outside windows were clean, which is rarity I often find. Super kind lovely hosts.

Unquestionably a 5-star venue. We stayed here for a few days during a tour of France. Not only is the gite superbly well-appointed …., it's also in a lovely location with great views across the valley. The owners are brilliant hosts... just enough help and not interfering!

If you like driving, the roads around the gite are fantastic. So much so, that the owners provide a selection of pre-set routes on paper and by phone app. They've thought of everything. Well worth a visit!

A great range of tooling and cleaning equipment that was free to use at anytime … which is always great because who wants to ride (or even drive) on a dirty motorbike/car.

After some great days riding there was nothing better to come back to this FANTASTIC PEACEFUL setting which offers 5 star quality through and through, a very well equipped and high quality kitchen, bathroom and luxurious bedroom with fantastic views .......and to top it all, sitting on the decking with a beer chilling, taking in the views and reminiscing on the days events.

Fantastic! This is definitely the best quality gite we've ever stayed in!

The maps and ideas for days out were really helpful and there was plenty of travel and car books to while away an evening.

After a long day out it was great to relax in the garden with a glass of wine and enjoy the peace and quiet. We even saw some deer. It was so peaceful. A real oasis.

We would highly recommend Bonnes Routes and will definitely be coming back soon!
